Craftwork shows LUNA at IBC

Craftwork will be showing its LUNA™ user experience engine at IBC 2017 in Amsterdam from 15-19 September.

IBC is billed as the world’s leading media entertainment and technology show, with over 1,700 exhibitors and drawing over 50,000 attendees.

Craftwork is a finalist in two CSI Awards

Craftwork is a finalist in two industry awards. The CSI Awards, celebrating their 15th year, are organised by Cable and Satellite International Magazine. They recognise and reward innovation and excellence in the cable, satellite, broadcast, telco, broadband and mobile television and video sectors.

First view of concept interface

A new way of watching television and video was presented for the first time at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. It was conceived by informitv in conjunction with Craftwork, which developed the prototype in just a few weeks, based on its LUNA user experience engine.

The Mercury concept interface combines smart channels and playlists to create a custom viewing experience. The prototype, running on a low-cost Android TV box, was presented as a live demonstration in a session on “Rethinking the Television User Experience” in the Broadcast Engineering and Information Technology Conference at NAB.

Craftwork at Node Summit in San Francisco

Craftwork will be showing its LUNA™ user experience engine at the Node Summit in San Francisco on 26-27 July. Based on the Node.js JavaScript runtime environment, LUNA enables extremely fast, fluid and flexible visual interfaces on widely-available hardware.

The Node Summit brings together experts from around the world to discuss the benefits of software engineering using Node.

The LUNA™ user experience engine from Craftwork will be powering a new concept interface presented at the NAB Show in Las Vegas.
