Challenge

When creating its next-generation service, Sky wanted to provide innovative new features with great performance, while maintaining its existing interactive applications.

Solution

The LUNA™ engine from Craftwork provided a highly-effective rapid application development environment, integrated into the Sky Q platform. This enabled a more responsive look and feel than was possible using a conventional browser-based implementation. As a result, the Sky Q apps, including Sky Sports, Sky News, My Photos provide the same amazing graphical performance as the native Sky Q interface.
